Bio
MUNDY is a Washington, DC-based New Wave Soul band. They formed in the summer of 2013, releasing their first song in December. Up-beat and visually engaging, with backgrounds in performance art, theater, and dance, MUNDY is a theatrical rock experience. Their concerts feature choreography along with stylized visuals and body moving melodies. Tailored for general and diverse audiences, MUNDY'S mission is to create a memorable, entertaining, and positive environment.
Bob Boilen (NPR) listed MUNDY as one of his favorite concert experiences of 2013. Their show at Bossa Lounge was chosen as the Editors' pick for The Washington Post in July, 2014. January 12th 2015 MUNDY was one of the featured up-and-coming bands to perform for Baltimore's 98Rock 97.9 Noise In The Basement at Ottobar. This year, MUNDY has headlined the Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD, Ram's Head Live in Baltimore and The 9:30 Club in DC.
