Italian Canadian Toronto native and Throat Cancer SURVIVOR since 2014 ,Paola Vena (MsP), has been singing and writing since the age of 10.A powerful but sultry voice in the styling of such greats as Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston out of many powerful women as important vocal role models for MsP..Doing her thing as a solo reggae act for 10 yrs in the underground reggae world.MsP finally started taking on very talented and open minded musicians and has since formed the band MsP wit D-RYDMZ.Together, they help bring the jazzy blues funktified reggae groove to life , of which Ms P Paola Vena has written all of the songs and with the help of the other members.Dave Ruigrok-Bass and producer,Larry Mesa-Keyboards,music charter and composer,Lester Luis-Trumpet,Congas,Timbales,Ian Macchusi-Drums,Piero Nunziata Guitar , the music comes to life This style is very full of life the music is really for all ages.
playing everywhere nowadays from The Opera House the Rivoli Mod club El Mocombo and so on like, Hosting and performing at the 2016 Taste of Downsview,city festivals and now catching a little speed and booking shows out a little further then their regular comfort zone.Clearly though the real comfort zone is ,:The Stage".
