Miss Mission an upcoming female rap artist and focused on producing great music has come to the underground hip hop genre an experienced and well rounded rap artist. Besides being a extraordinary in that having experienced a multitude of various skills in various fields from basketball to military service, and yet has the passion, skill and drive it takes to contend with and stake her claim in the ever increasing amount of 'females that rap'.
Being exposed to all types of music genres been the youngest of four and growing up in a single parent household has given the young artist more than enough foundation to grow from. Not to mention the specific genres of hardcore underground rap music that has inspired her to create the music she does and be skilled with lyrical storytelling, rapping, recording and releasing new music live performance and to top lit off acting in videos with perfect execution and this is only the beginning.
Giving 'shout out' to Cleveland Miss Mission is on a non stop ride to fame and fortune. Making good music, telling stories, having fun and getting money are the objective. Being ready to '...raise the bar...' and 'coming from the heart', she's all about business. Fittingly calls it 'The Mid Western Invasion', and it is another welcomed addition to the hip hop music scene. With intentions of being In the game for the long haul. 'Heartland' begins with synthesized keyboards programmed to sound like violins playing throughout the entire track. Giving it a serious tone that defines a 'no nonsense' theme that turn up the party and get people on a dancefloor.
Following the violin cover the percussions that come right in come, in on time and keep a steady rhythm giving the track a grove that would rival the hottest soundtracks of her time and taking ques, espescially from Tupac, along with several of the greatest hip hop rap artists and many other artists' from the 90s Miss Mission is deemed for greatness.
Overall the song and video are exquisitely performed. The quality of the track is outstanding and the flow is remarkable. I will definitely be on the lookout for more great music form Miss Mission in the near future.

IAA: What city and state are you from?
MISS MISSION: I am from Lorain, Ohio aka Steel City.
IAA: What is your music background?
MISS MISSION: I don’t have a really big musical background. My dad plays the guitar and I was in the choir in the 9th and 10th grade. Other than that I always kept a set of headphones on my ears blasting music (all types of genres).
IAA: Why do you want to record and release your own music?
MISS MISSION: The reason I want to record and release my own music is because I want to give a different perspective to the female hip-hop community. I have a different message, a different style/swagger to me. I’m not like the everyday common artist, I’m unpredictable. I like to rap about my life, opinions, feelings, experiences, issues and my emotions. I don’t like to just rap about trendy topics, that’s too easy, my music is deeper than that. I want my music to become a movement.
IAA: What are your songs about?
MISS MISSION: My songs are about me! My songs are about my home, my orientation, my life, my flow, my swag, relationships, girls, sex, love, pain, dreams, ambitions, the military and my experiences. I want my fans to get to know me personally because I take music very personally. I don’t want to give out a facade.
IAA: Who is your fan base directed towards?
MISS MISSION: My fan base is directed towards the more liberal/open minded crowd. I don’t want to just categorize my music and say “these type of people or those type of people” because I try to hit on all aspects. I try to make music everyone can feel.
IAA: Who are your musical influences?
MISS MISSION: My musical influences are Bone Thugs N Harmony, Tupac, Eazy-E, Eminem, Eve, Missy Elliot, DMX, Master P. Recently it’s been Machine Gun Kelly, Wale and J.Cole.
IAA: How would you describe your music to people?
MISS MISSION: The way I would describe my music to someone is that it’s like nothing they have ever heard from a female before. I’m going to give you some goose bumps at times. Sometimes, I will make you teary eyed. I give a wide range, it’s like an emotional tornado.
IAA: What makes you stand out from other artist?
MISS MISSION: I stand out from other artists because I’m different. I’m not the typical female rapper that’s the only way I can describe myself. I am who I am.
IAA: What are some upcoming projects you are currently working on?
MISS MISSION: Some upcoming projects on my mixtape “Welcome To OH10” that will be out very soon. Please look for it on all the mixtape sites next month. I have another video coming out, and you can YouTube me for previous videos. I am also working on my next mixtape which will be out hopefully at the end of the year or beginning of next. It’s going to be called “Steelmatic“.
IAA: What are your career goals? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
MISS MISSION: My career goals are to become the greatest female emcee ever. I want to change the industry perception of female artists. It’s a new Era, people want change, and they want to hear something new. I want to give that to them. In 10 years I see myself being in a CEO position like Jay-Z, Diddy, or Dre . I want to find future artists and help them reach their dreams.
