Mr. Versatile aka Lil Daddy is an artist hailing from Louisiana. Born in Baton Rouge in 1980, he has been passionately gaining a growing reputation as a singer/rapper since 2001. It was love from the start and from that very beginning there was no turning away from the music and vibe that is trance. This gifted artist has been working diligently on creating a new sound in Southern Soul, Blues and Hip Hop. Lil Daddy started writing his own music at the age of 16 and continued to work in Music Select Chorus, Solo performances and charity functions. By the age of 19 Lil Daddy started his professional career. Two years later Mr. Versatile dropped his first project “ The Weekend Volume 1” during the summer of 2003. A year later he completed his first full length album “In The Game But Not Of The Game” in late 2005. He bought his first Akia MPC console and together with his two best friends formed Versatile Minds Ent. In 2007 V.M.E started performing at parties and different venues and with their growing recognition also playing around Baton Rouge and surrounding areas often alongside a variety of nationwide artists such as Vince Hutchinson, Kevin Gates, Boosie and Webbie, Sir Charles Jones, Jeff Floyd, Tyree Neal and many others. As a Artist, Mr. Versatile has become known for his relatable lyrics and strong vocal ability which allows him to diversify his sound to create an aesthetically pleasing Hip Hop/ Southern Soul/Blues Combination. Mr.Versatile has an active performing schedule at venues, festivals, and events throughout the United States
