Mouthy Downtown was formed in El Paso, Texas by vocalist/guitarist Sebastian James Avalos, bassist Carlos Pacheco, and lead guitarist Luis Hernandez in 2017. Few months after searching for their sound, guitarist David Gutierrez and drummer Hasael Sanchez where introduced into the band. Mouthy Downtown features classic influences touched with modern ideas and tones.
