I am writing to introduce Mike C. Angel; a gospel artist, rapper, songwriter, and performer in C.O.E. Music Group and designer for C.O.E. Music Brand clothing and shoe line!
Mike C. Angel is my pseudonym or stage name, which has a very special and specific meaning:
Mike is short for his real first name Michael, and Michael biblically means, "Who is like God." The C. is in use for his real middle name initial which is Christopher, and means biblically, "Carrier of Christ or bearing the name of Christ." Now, Angel is not his real last name, but a surname that means "Messenger" which he has become.
So all together when you say "Mike C. Angel" it states a question and gives the answer:
"Who is like God? Christ's Messenger!" and I believe God is making him a Messenger of Christ!
The name Angel was given to him from his partners in C.O.E. and also brethren, and random souls, which would call him that for coming through for them in times of need! They would say things like, "God must knew I needed an angel" or "God sent me an angel" or "Mike you're an angel" but the most interesting one to him was when he wrote the song "Letter to my Savior!"
At that time he was still going off of his secular music name "Mike C. Money" which is even apart of the the introduction on the song "Letter to my Savior" but when this group of young women heard it at a Burger King they asked a partner of C.O.E. Music, "Who is that, he sound like an angel" which surprised him when he heard that;
"I don't believe I am a singer, he said, but one who can harmonize and make a melody."
After maturing in the gospel, Mike also needed his name to mature, and coincide with the gospel and the Word of God; but because everyone was too familiar with calling him Mike, it would not have been fitting to change his first name, especially after studying the meaning of his name; so of course it was obvious that the name Angel carried with him and was chosen for him over Money, which we didn't want to be associated with our music ministry. The C. also stayed as well to distinguish him from any other Mike Angel's, just as the C. was to separate him from any other Mike Money's!
So who is Mike C. Angel? Well, if you need to know more continue to read his stories, and listen to his music; for it is an everlasting story!
