Model 97

"Model 97 are High Octain Punk-n-Rollers that are taking a stand to party hard!" This self proclaimed title is what Model 97 is all about. Formed in Plattsburgh, New York in 2011, the band consists of Nick Dubay, Wayne Plumadore, Nick Tamer, and Gabe Bowen. They bring their punk/rock sounds to local bars in the area. Influenced heavily by Motorhead, Lawrence Arms, The Clash, Misfits, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Boys, Rolling Stones, and One Man Army, their performances are high energy. These Plattsburgh natives pride themselves in creating music based off of what life is like there; hanging out with friends, BMX, drinking beer, healthy partying and sports. Currently, they have one full length album out, "...Is a Decent Band", and are in talks of putting out a live album. 

This band is all about having fun and doing what they enjoy. Their songs are based off of love, brotherhood, and living in the North Country in New York. They are quoted as "loving what we do and how we do it"

For the most part, they do their own headlining shows. However, Model 97 has shared the stage with bands such as Executive Disorder, Aliendog, and Return of the Fly. An easygoing band, Model 97 can play a short 10-20 minute set, or will play as long as they are allowed. Most recently, they played at the Ausable Brewing Company in Upstate New York
