Miss Tina Fondren is a Lexington native known for her sultry vocals and inspiring and uplifting lyrics. She began her music journey at the age of 6, and discovered her ability to write songs at 7. Growing up she was rather shy but still knew that being on the stage and expressing herself through music is all she wanted to do when she grew up. In 2016 she released a mixtape called 'Mind of a Queen' and followed with her first album 'Essence of a Queen' which was released in 2018 with the hit single 'Black woman'. Now 27 and a new mother, she has strived to continue to work hard for her goals and inspire others to do the same. Like she says in her song 'Black Woman', "I can do anything". She provides a balance of soul, rhythm and blues, rap, and pop within her music. Her latest release 'Catch the vibe' featuring another Lexington native, Tsmilez, showcases her versatility and also what is in store in the months to come. She is currently working on her next studio album entitled "Tina". This sophomore project is a diary of events and lessons that she's learned up to this point which really solidifies who she is as an artist. This album is edgy, fun, real, and shows a vulnerability that hasn't been shown in the projects that came before. The only question is, are you ready for Miss Tina Fondren?
