"An Eclectic Urban-Edged Style"

Rapper Mirad Musick is a 21 year old Art Administration student at Georgia State University. Mirad has just released the track “Where I Be (Prod. Shaddidumakethis?)” through the Boutique Musick label.

Mirad Musick is an extremely unique rapper, who sounds (and even looks!) like a crossover blend between Wyclef Jean and Lil’ Wayne – which translates into an explosive flow. This eclectic urban-edged style is probably most evident on the track “Murder”, and to a certain extent, even “Krave”.

The track “Where I Be”, grabs you and the holds you through to the last bar. Shaddidumakethis? did a pretty good job with the production on this song, but Mirad did an even better job at rapping over the beat! His delivery is probably one of the most unique in all of hip-hop today. It’s almost like the words are spilling out of his mouth. In rap, there are only a few artists that could completely mesmerize you with the way they say things, as opposed to what they are saying. Meaning, you’re hooked before you even understand what the dude is trying to tell you. This happens with Mirad Musick.

Mirad’s lyrics and delivery are truly authentic and original. He says some sick lines, but it is his delivery techniques that I find most innovative. Mirad Musick brings a whole new style to the rap game. Actually calling it the rap game is a little restrictive because his style adds in a few other things too. Mirad really makes the beat work with him. He is one of those artists that do not just flow in an uncolored monotone rhythm; he spits his rhymes with feeling.

Running through his catalog, it becomes clear that Mirad Musick has a wide variety of things to talk about in a variety of styles; slow, fast, mellow, raw and rugged. There is no denying the fact that the combination of Mirad Musick and Shaddidumakethis? is among the best in the underground industry. Listen to “Where I Be”! - Jamsphere

"Mirad Musick: “LIVING WRONG” Engulfs you, making you feel a part of the story"

Producer, Artist and Actor, Mirad Musick, an Art Administration student at Georgia State University, has released the track “Living Wrong” (Prod.ShadDidUMakeThis). I came across Mirad a short while ago when I review one of his other releases. I was really impressed with his presence and control over the various beats. While his peers are making cookie cutter, mainstream knock-offs Mirad Musick goes deeper in his lyrics, while still connecting to the streets.

Mirad Musick is one of the very few new rappers out there that knows how to tell compelling stories. He is only 21, but this is a real man that has something to say about the world and his experiences. Mirad does it in such a clever fashion that it is undeniable that this young MC understands the world in a much broader sense than your regular student. The title says it all, but if you listen carefully to the track from beginning to end, you kind of see the picture that he is trying to portray.

The thing that makes “Living Wrong” so great is because it is one of those songs that are exactly what hip hop should be about. Nowadays you see rappers rapping about fluff. Rap music has become so stale, but its tracks like this that is keeping it alive. Mirad Musick is one of those unique artists that is able to talk to the people and send a message about society in his verses.

Mirad is full of emotion, and he expresses it through some awesome lyrics in “Living Wrong”. His melodies mixed with his flow and swag when he raps, is second to none. His verses engulf you, and make you feel a part of the story. He is tight, he is young, ambitious, and hungry. Put together with ShadDidUMakeThis’ production, that stirs up for great music! - Jamsphere

"Mirad Musick"

The Hip hop artist from Atlanta - Mic Mirad, producing under the artistic name of Mirad Musick – has already put down his roots in the genre and is enjoying the fruits of his proliferate talent. However, he has recently embarked on a journey of introducing smooth reggae feels into his music, in order to achieve those good vibrations. History knows well of the interchangeable influences between hip hop and reggae, especially in America, and some of the early hip hop artists were originally reggae masters, such as DJ Kool Herc. Nowadays, the legendary Sean Paul, Shaggy, and recently Snoop Dog have succeeded in the intricate genre crossover.

Mirad Musick’s album Under The Endless Sky features very subtle reggae rhythms, just enough to tickle the soul. His newest track “Never Tell It with BOREGARD”, however, uses a good handful of the Jamaican flavour to spice up the hip hop basis. The mixture has turned out lively, catchy and making us beg for more. But not to worry, because Mirad Musick is currently working on his upcoming project called Reggae Musick, which will assert his legacy amongst both genres. - Cult-Style Magazine
