Bio
Migrant is a four piece progressive/alternative rock band formed in Shelton, CT. Known for bringing their backgrounds of various genres to the table, Nathan Allan utilities his pop and r&b style to make sure songs stay catchy and memorable, Christian Hamilton puts crowds in awe as he shows the technicality of progressive rock, Mike Capasso keeps heads bobbing as he provides his touch of post hardcore and Christian Mariano uses his love for funk to get audiences off of their feet.
Since their start, Migrant has opened for acts such as PVRIS, Emarosa, A Loss For Words, Sianvar, A Lot Like Birds, Dayshell, Stolas, He Is Legend, Artifex Pereo, Eidola, The Ongoing Concept, My Iron Lung, Save Us From The Archon, Hed PE, and more at venues such as Webster Hall in NYC, Webster Theater and Toad's Place in CT.
Migrant has also been fortunate enough to be coached by multiple artists in the industry in order to perfect their crafts. Christian Hamilton has worked with both Thomas Erak of The Fall of Troy as well as Sergio Medina of Sianvar, Stolas and Eidola while Nathan Allan has been taken under the wing of Bradley Walden from Emarosa who is now his mentor/vocal coach.
Migrant has just recently released their sophomore record, New Addicts - recorded at VuDu Studios with Mike Watts (Hail The Sun, The Dear Hunter, Glassjaw).
