Encompassing a plethora of genres through their music, Middle James seeks to build an innovative post-punk take on traditional rock, blues, and jazz styles. If one were to pin the band down into one category it would likely be indie-pop. However, the music cannot be easily quantified by one word. With a reinvigorated drive to build a cultural, personal, and musical statement around Middle James, the band is seeking new heights in 2018, already starting fresh with social media, and taking a more personable approach with the fans. Middle James consists of Dawson Van Cise with vocals, songwriting, and guitar, Michael Hughes on guitar and saxophone, Gideon Wolfe on bass, and Collin Crose on drums. The band currently resides in Bellingham, WA, and is available for gigs spanning the pacific northwest!
