Discography
Let it Go: Michael's first studio recording.
Produced in 2008 using a variety of sound textures from string band to classical Indian to soul grooves with horns and Aretha Franklin's old vibraphone, it's country-fried boogie and ghostly dirge all wrapped up in one bittersweet package.
Now that their house is functional, the next recording project is underway, with a projected release in Winter 2014.

Bio
Erica Waite studied ballet at Western Michigan University and danced with the Kalamazoo Ballet Company, and lived down the street from a music student named Michael Waite. The two of them set off on a vision quest across the country and across the ocean, traveling by freight train, ship or on foot. They returned to Michigan to set down roots and began performing together. They built a home for themselves and their three children, in the Huron Mountains 20 miles north of Marquette, a house which features a dance hall where they can develop their performances as well as hold concerts and other community events.
Michael has been performing as a singer/songwriter weekly for nearly twenty years. He and Erica collaborate more frequently as their children become more independent. You can find Michael’s CD "Let it Go" online on his website, michaelwaitemusic.com, iTunes, Spotify, Google play and many other online music channels. His new CD, “We’ve Always Been at Home” is due out in early 2019
