Born in Virginia and then moving across the country to the Bay Area of Northern California, in his early teens, helped shape Michael DeAngelo's sound, making it unique and yet familiar. Mixing southern vibe with a Cali bounce is the best way to describe the Hayward living artist. With hit songs like "Lakers" or "Comic Books and Tupac" he produces great theme songs for the perfect California day. After opening up and working with countless Bay Area acts and starting his own vlog and interview series called “New Material” showcasing the areas unique talent, Michael DeAngelo has become one of the hottest names in Northern California along with his Cold Gang Crew. As recent as August 16, 2019 the rapper released two singles leading to an EP called “A Pursuit” which received favorable reviews from critics with word that another project would be released before the end of the year. With a solid core fan base and a unparalleled sound the only way is up for the independent artist.
