Bio

Medici is the musical enterprise of singer-songwriter/pianist Casey Proctor, bassist and guitarist Jeremy Hunter and drummer Shawn Wyman. Drawing from a wide variety of influences, Medici's music emits raw beauty and intimate reflection with a touch of soul. Casey, Jeremy and Shawn are long time friends, and having this basis it was easy to form Medici in mid 2010. Since the beginning it has been the ongoing intention of these friends to hold Medici as a space for boundless artistic expression.

In October 2012 they independently released their first album "Arbor and Acer". The debut album showcases a variety of song types, including some of Casey's solo songs, that never the less fit together seamlessly. Since the release, Medici have been performing live with a number of successful musical artists such as Carina Round, Rosi Golan, Scott Kelly and Noah Landis. In August 2013, Medici was sought out by Mercedes Benz to be part of their 52nd mb mixed-tape release. The free mixed-tape download featured their song "My Crew" and songs from many other artists from all over the world.

Currently, the members of Medici are working on an EP that is expected to be released by early 2014.
