In short, Meach Pango brings a party. While their debut album, Fresh Fruit (recorded last year at The Hang Studios in Hurst with engineer Ben Barnett), is ripe with earwormy hooks and good-time grooves, their live show is where they really shine, in part because their personality personifies the quest for meachitude. - Fort Worth Weekly
Meach Pango puts painstaking effort into creating music that by and large thrives off good energy and at times generates bitter sweet feelings of nostalgia. They are in the complimentary sense, nice guys who dig playing music. However, there is nothing meek or modest about the goals they ultimately want to achieve. - En La Calle On The Street
Ultimately, the real significance in seeing the song brought to life in music video format is watching the band perform the work the song attempts to accomplish in its two parts. When logic and reason and pleading just don’t make it better, sometimes the only thing left is letting go and rocking out. - Dallas Observer

Bio
Meach Pango is a 5-piece alternative rock band based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas.
The band was formed in 2016 in Saginaw, Texas as a group of friends looking to do more than play covers at Mama's Texican Kitchen. They started writing original music together in their garage, and not long after released their first album, "Fresh Fruit" in September 2017.
This was met with raving reviews, pontificated by Steve Steward of Fort Worth Weekly:
"In short, Meach Pango brings a party. While their debut album is ripe with earwormy hooks and good-time grooves, their live show is where they really shine, in part because their personality personifies the quest for meachitude."
Recently, Meach has taken a hold over the DFW local scene due to the notoriety of their energetic live shows paired with the release of their sophomore album, "Distractions". They are known for their eccentricity, and have gained recognition in the music videos for their songs "Built for the Tilt" and "Off the Ledge".
All of this, with the aid of their wildly supportive fanbase has brought the band to a larger scale, including performances at 2019's Fortress Festival with Grammy winner Leon Bridges, and the Central Track Music Awards with a win in the Pop Rock category.
"The feeling of hope and optimism Meach Pango had when they started is now accompanied by the confidence that comes with a successful debut album. Presently the band is in a transition period where they are trying to convert what started out as a childhood hobby into a full-time career."
-Roderick Pullum of En La Calle on the Street
Meach Pango is comprised of frontman Alex Mackenzie, guitarists Anthony Coffman and Jared Loftis, bassist Jorge Marquez, and drummer Clayton Gaskamp.
