RBL: What is the meaning of your name? How did you get it and what is the significance?
Mark: The name was inspired by one of the greatest entertainers, Johnny Carson. ‘Mark’ fit with ‘Carson’ to create the initials M.C. M.C. the emcee.

Have you ever been misunderstood by people of what you represent? You don’t look like the typical emcee which separates you from everyone, but how do people feel?
Yes. It’s funny because I’m the exact opposite - RBL

Mark Carson is getting ready to release his mixtape “Good Vibes.” Mark brings in a style of music that is influenced by 90’s Hip-Hop and mixed with a more modern touch. There’s a ton of South Carolina talent out there that Mark will be bringing to his project. He believes that this project can for sure be the push they need for their contributions to the culture. We can look forward to receiving that project sometime in late fall.
