Mama Moon and the Rump Shakers is 6 piece blues fusion group based out of Washington in the District of Columbia. Formed in June of 2021, Mama Moon and the Rump Shakers brings a unique creativity to Blues music all while keeping the soul and roots of Blues music alive. Mama Moon has a dynamic stage presence with an eccentric sense of style and energy that is sure to stand out amongst the rest. Known as D.C.’s Goddess of the Blues and the Barefoot Blues Singer Mama Moon brings audiences to the edge of their seats with her powerful soul stirring voice and no holds barred energy.
