Mahoganie Lastrada

Mahoganie is 19 years old she was Born in Palm Springs, California along with 15 other siblings. She went to 3 different foster homes including her Aunt' house before she reached the age of 5 and got adopted. She was adopted with 3 other sisters Michelle, Star and Anastazia by Elizabeth and Cricket LaStrada, then found by her older brother Chyse Atkins 15 years later. She started singing originally with her 3 sisters as "Calimade" and eventually broke off independently to start her own music and writing. Mahoganie began writing at age 14 and progressed independently with singing and writing. She caught the attention of Shadowspear Music Group C.E.O. Troy Douglas at a rap contest he was judging in Vermont. She was with a group at the time but felt as though it was time to pursue her solo career and ended up inking a deal with the label. Since the signing she has Done events with the Flotilla 13 group (labelmates) and has completed her 5 song E.P. Entitled "Love Lost" With a perfect blend oh RnB and Hip Hop she is destined to be the Newest sensation out of New England . 2015 Will boast a prominent year for this upcoming artist with her lead single "NO DELAY" killing the market there will be no denying that. She dedicates her career and ambition to her mother who recently passed. As She proclaims in her single  All My Life "her crowns a hand me down" (From Her Mom).
