Stylish pop in the vein of Solange or Lion Babe, there's a sense of fun, of abandon at work here that is downright contagious.

NYC based singer/songwriter/DJ MAAD has been grafting away, steadily making a name for herself in recent months, from her stellar ‘Sweet & Low’ video to the audio premiere of ‘Black Ice’ earlier this year.



Premiering the visual for ‘Black Ice’, directed by Creative Destruction, MAAD struts her stuff in the clip, looking fly as ever and really gives her contemporaries a run for their money. Created completely independently, MAAD sets the bar extremely high for indie acts and continues to push creative and musical boundaries.



Clearly working to a winning formula, MAAD is set to release her debut EP ‘Lé Funk’ in September, and with a new track to follow in the coming weeks, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the world starts to go mad for MAAD…

Not everyone can make the model-to-artist transition: many is the brave face to have attempted it and long is the list of those who’ve failed. Still, have no fears about MAAD.
