Lush Agave is the latest project of classical vocalist and electronic musician, Alisha Erao (formerly of Alligator Indian). Erao's experience as an instructor and producer inspires her contemporary reimaginings of opera arias and art songs. The results reflect a battle between reticence and fervor, and expose a haunting vulnerability within Erao's songwriting and performance.
Erao has been involved extensively in both the DIY and classical circuit, both as an event coordinator and performer. She has recently relocated from her long time residence of Asheville, NC to her hometown of Orlando, FL.
