Chronicle is raining out Jacksonville, FL who just released his first full length LP titled “Bright Nights“. It’s a true motivational record, showcasing raw talent speaking on his struggles and his personal relationship with the music business that we call “THE HIP HOP GAME”. His creativity has created a sound the mixes in 90’s style groove with a 2016 modern tune that will gravitate the Hip Hop masses. This record includes 13 solid tracks with some incredible features. His poetry level has set a new standard as well, he sticks with the fundamentals when it comes to making quality music and Hip Hop.
Chronicle debut LP has already impressed us a lot, with tracks like “Say Whats Real” & “Too Much” that grabbed me in a way that made me sit back and relax and tell myself “Dam This Stuff Is Solid”!! R&B, Conscious Hip Hop, Golden Era Hip Hop & Poetry all combined to one is exactly what this record is! At the end of the day can hear the thought behind his lyrics, its hard nowadays to find a quality Hip Hop artist in these tough times but we are happy to finally here a Jacksonville native truly holding the torch high for Real Hip Hop.
“Bright Nights” is a strong phrase for me and I hold this record accountable for its actions and message, I highly recommend the project for all of Hip hop fans to download today in fall into the world of Chronicle! I know for a fact his music to for all people, its more than Hip Hop, it’s about LIFE!! - ARMANDO URENA JR of UGHH blog
[JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA] It’s been about two years since aspiring hip-hop artist Chronicle released DARK DAYS EP. But now for the end of 2015 Chronicle brings us his first LP entitled BRIGHT NIGHTS. Through his hiatus Chronicle was able to work on his craft and was able to find his place in music. With my LP Review I’ll be going over my favorite tracks off the Bright Nights (Deluxe Edition).
even though the title of the LP “Bright Nights” maybe an oxymoron term but it definitely provides a positive through negative type of vibe. Chronicle remains with soulful sounds such as 90’s R&B, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. He was able to portray these vibes with the help from producers Taylor King, LB, Saul xo, Stevie Fanta, ghost/\/ghoul, Soul, and atlastheoverseer.
BRIGHT NIGHTS LP is a story reflecting on the struggle corcerning his family, relationship woes, insecurities, and a distaste for the current direction of the music scene. Regardless to all these issues/struggles Chronicle insist that there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. Anything you do, make sure it’s done with love.
CHILL ASS INTRO is a great way to show you a sense of what Chronicle is going through and how the vibe it’s setting itself. Right at the beginning you hear from his parents, loved ones, about when is he getting his music together? The intro also features Dezy.
NOSTALGIC kinda reminds me of Gangsta’s Pradise from Coolio. With that dark night/90’s hip-hop production. “Give my people something to live for, Give my people something to die for.” That hook is eternal! Throughout everyone struggle they need to see the light in order to have the reason to live and climb through any obstacles.
LET ME LIVE I feel that this track can definitely be played in a club setting. Especially with the chorus, I can see the crowd go through a trance. Chronicle speaks the truth from experience. Coming together with good people and celebrating with what life has to offer. And if anyone has an issue with that, then give them that middle finger.
POUR OUT YA SOUL really expresses how he feels about his family and how he is when it comes to certain situations. Chronicle also touches topics regarding how people are following trends and even insecurities in relationships. During these tough times, Chronicle is compelled to search for hope from a higher power.
DO YOU LOVE ME, I feel this track is one of the strongest one on the Bright Nights LP. Discussing the problem he has regarding now a days with woman calling themselves bad bitches and not giving themselves enough dignity.
MIDNIGHT DRIVE is setting the mood for those late night drives with someone you’re interested in. This track is meant for that special lady in your life. Everything about this girl is something you can’t ignore. Chronicle expresses the intensity of attraction. With a minute left in the song you can hear how Chronicle embraces that R&B style he loves so much.
O.T.S is the track to help younger generations to realize things should be done when you’re truly ready such as having kids at a young age. Hoping that other parties will understand and respect your decision. Especially when it comes to letting certain people out of your lives. O.T.S features Vizzle.
This concludes my take on the Bright Nights LP brought to you by Jacksonville Upcoming Hip-Hop Artist Chronicle! If you’re diggin’ the project as much as I am you need to go and support it now and purchase it via iTunes! By doing so you’ll be able to get the BONUS tracks too that include I’m Just Doing Me, Bright Nights, American Dream, and Do You Remember. - nikkisiixxhiphop
Chronicle, the group LRK’s artist, has released his first solo mixtape entitled “Dark Days.” The 8-track mixtape could be best described as a trap-step expression of Chronicle’s existence, mainly driven by his ego, and an exhibition of his punch-line ability, driven by the aforementioned ego. The mixtape mainly stays in the lane of one-liner self-promotion and laid back flows. Chronicle’s voice comes with a delivery that, at most times, reminds one of Pimp-C influenced southern trap-rapper; whilst, most of the tracks have a A.$.A.P.-esque feel to them. This atmosphere is mainly attributed to the mellow flow and slowed choruses that are prominent on the tape. Check out Chronicle’s first release and drop him some feedback. - John Folleck
For being CRONICLE‘s first solo project we were very impressed. Holding it down for Florida by delivering fresh 2013 Hip Hop for BLOG Hip Hop fans. Including original production from multiple producers with it being mixed and mastered properly, CRONICLE doesn’t short cut anything when it comes to his music. His style of flow and cadence is very unique, very easy to understand yet aggressive with every track. Recommended tracks are “Dominoes” & “Just Let Me Vent” true bangers in our book………UndergrundHipHopBLOG.com
The mellow tone artist known as Chronicle was born in Jacksonville FL. Had a passion for music at the age of 12 but decided to pursue other ventures, but after a while nothing could compare to the love he had for music. Major music influences range from a variety of artist such as UGK, Outkast, Eminem, Jay.z, Drake, kendrick lamar, big sean and asap rocky. Releasing his first solo project this year titled ” Dark days” which is due for release 07/23 - underground hip hop
As we await the drop for Chronicle‘s upcoming project, Bright Nights, we are given a new track called “Poetry In Motion” produced by AtlastheOverseer. Chronicle, Jaymacabee, and RJ gives us a few minutes of deep wisdom and knowledge on this very personal track. - shay
Rap and Jazz make a perfect combination. If you have any doubts about that, let this song prove you otherwise. The soulful beat courtesy of producer -L.B. combined with deep introspective lyrics from Chronicle and Dre Rose makes for one of the realist songs I’ve heard in a while.
Add one more fan for these guys. - Reality is Real

Jacksonville Florida artist Chronicle, Releases his second single 'Midnight Drive' off the album Bright NIghts. - All unsigned
Jacksonville, Florida native Chronicle took the last couple of years to hone in on his craft and figure out where he belonged in this very saturated hip-hip industry. Back in 2013 Chronicle dropped off his "Dark Days" EP, in which the content reflected the particular situations he was dealing with at that time. Fast forward to 2016 and Chronicle delivers the "Bright Nights" LP, a follow up of sorts to the aforementioned EP above, rather then focusing on negative energy Chronicle uses this project to show listeners that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Using a wide array of soulful sounds from the 90's, R&B, Jazz and a little bit of poetry it enables Chronicle to express how he feels about family struggles, relationship roadblocks, insecurities amongst himself and his current distaste of the direction of the music industry. - ThisIs50
After two years of persistently finding his lane and sound, Chronicle appears to have refined a project to his liking in his debut LP entitled, “Bright Nights.” The soul and passion definitely translates well sonically. With a combination of 90s Jazz, Hip Hop, and some poetic lyricism, the project comes together as a refreshing compilation to hear out. Chronicle touches on some inner battles that he’s fought, relationship strife, and overt disdain for the current state of commercial music.
However, there’s a hopeful and optimistic undertone in the songs that makes one believe that the future is bright for music and the artists who work relentlessly at putting out quality content. This is a nice project to come out with in the last quarter of 2015, a year that has proven to bring some memorable projects with it. Great music here. - Jon G.
