Bio
Brandon Smallwood (born February 8th, 1989), better known by his stage name LovaB, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer/engineer, dancer, actor, and film director, best known for being featured on the show So You Think You Can Dance. Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he first embarked in a career as a dancer instructor, and began to receive public attention after dancing on "SYTYCD". LovaB has since taken a brake from dance, and has ventured into music releasing projects as early as 2016. LovaB is perhaps best known for his singles "After Party" featuring Taylor Gangs Raven Felix, and "So Strong" featuring Mr Duke D, and Young Verse 918 both released in 2017.
After closing out 2019 with an album, LovaB has since wrote, directed, and stared in a short film based around a new album coming from his music label. The visual album “Carrier” has been selected, received honorable mentions, and screened in multiple film festivals around the world. Carrier has also won best experimental short film at the V. I. Z. Film fest. The visual album, is set to release at the end of 2021.
