Lou Vig
Lou Vig of Old Bridge. New Jersey, has already made his mark as a highly successful and sought-after back-up guitarist for such well-known musical acts as the Manhattans. the Drifters, Chuck Jackson and Melba Moore, Kathy Jordan Sharpton and the one and only Joe Fraizer .
The Brooklyn. New York native has toured the United States and Canada and has appeared on many television shows including the popular 1970's musical show, The Midnight Special. He has also been a regular at the famous Manhattan night spot, The Cotton Club. lending his talents to many famous jazz and blues greats. Lou Vig has always been recognized as a dynamic and versatile musician, receiving rave reviews by Hollywood Reporter as Melba Moore's guitarist.
Lyn Jackson, an ‘Outstanding’ Jazz, R&B and Pop vocalist has been pleasing crowds all over the U.S with her ‘crystal clear’ sultry voice. While audiences enjoy Lyn’s smooth and sultry sound, they are awed by the strong presence she portrays on stage. Her vocal style resembles such artists as Sarah Vaughn, Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, and Celine Dion.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL Lyn started her career as the lead singer of the teenage trio “The Sequins.” Their single, “Hey Romeo” hit the Top 40 on Billboard’s R&B chartsThe group has performed with such artists as James Brown, The Staple Singers and Al Green. Lyn has opened for acts such as Lou Rawls, Regina Bell, Minnie Riperton and The Chi-Lites.Lou Vig and Lyn Jackson are a blend of Jazz, R&B and Blues but they can also tackle any genre of music upon request.
Lyn Jackson is a powerful vocalist much like Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan Whitney Houston and Donna summers and can really get the crowd going. Lou Vig is a dynamic guitarist with many influences such as George Benson Pat Martino Eric Clapton and BB King. Together they are a creative force and their music speaks much louder then pen and paper can describe.
Lou and Lyn met on the Phoenix music scene in 2017.
They immediately acknowledged each other's talents and spoke about their music goals. Lou is one of the best guitarists on the scene today.
Lyn is a dynamic and strong vocalist who performs all genres.
It wasn't long before the chemistry and the musical talent between them made for a perfect duo.
They're very serious about their music industry goals and making them happen.
Lou and Lyn are both composers. Therefore, they will be releasing their CD which would include originals and cover songs. This project will feature Jazz, Pop and R&B. Their CD is entitled "Can You Feel It"
