Bio
Born Carlos Silva in Jamaica, Queens, young Los was exposed to a variety of music and movies that left and indelible mark on him as a creator. Growing up during the golden age of 1990’s Hip Hop, he devoured the genre and discovered early on that he had a knack for wordplay.
Inspired by the 1995 film KIDS, Los attended the New York Film Academy where he studied screenwriting and film production. In 2008 he produced and acted in the exploitation-horror film 'Blood And Sex Nightmare' and also starred and directed the music video for the film’s theme song 'The Devil’s Everywhere'.
In 2012 Los direct several music videos for rapper/actor Slaine including "Trail of Blood" produced by Hip-Hop legend Static Selektah. The follow up video Los directed for Slaine, "Borrowed Time", featured rapper Checkmark, another Boston native and former member of 'The Schizophrenics' and was produced by Louis Bell, the creative force behind hits for Post Malone, Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey.
It wasn’t until late 2018 that Los recorded "Dark Night Of The Soul". Producers on the project include LA rapper Joey Supratta as well as Los’s brother Silvamore who’s worked with Slaine, Joel Ortiz and the late Nipsey Hustle.
