Bio
Miranda Goddard, who performs as Locution Field Lab, is an American artist, producer and DJ. Inspired by many musicians, such as Tycho, Bowery Electric, Solar Fields, Carbon Based Lifeforms and Amelie Lens, she uses her musings to explore her own sound. Goddard combines many aspects of different genres and field recordings to create lush atmospheres, enveloping rhythms and unique compositions.
Since 2017, Goddard has performed as a DJ at numerous shows and events. Most notably, in 2019 she performed a downtempo set at Burningman for Opulent Chill. She is known for taking her listeners on a sonic journey through her DJ performances, often opening with ambient selections moving into darker, techno and trance mixtures.
Goddard's debut EP, "Compell / Industrialized" was released on February 2nd, 2020. She is currently working on second EP due to be released later this spring.
