Smoke, Dreams and War Machines
When you hear the strum of the first chord, you know that you're in for something special. Smoke, Dreams and War Machines is the third release from Minneapolis based Blues & Rhythm Power Trio Local Rhythm. The band has always preferred minimalism in the studio. No auto tune. No heavy effects. Limited Milli Vanilli style guest vocalists. But for this record, they were trying to make the recording process as organic as possible and capture the raw energy of the band's live show. The result was six songs, all live tracked in the same room with only a handful of overdubs beyond the vocals. It's not perfect. But it's real. And the process has produced some of the bands best recordings to date.

- Provided entertainment for several high end brew pubs in California and Arizona
