Little Green Shack is dedicated to bringing the music of the Grateful Dead to life. There are several bands playing Grateful Dead covers these days, but very few of them put in the time, effort and LOVE of the music to spend the time getting the sound right. Hand picked musicians who all have other projects, the members of Little Green Shack come together to perform the music they love. With adherance to the themes and structures of these great songs, and, with the confidene and patience to take improvisational sections to wherever they may lead, Little Green Shack also embodies the spirit of the Dead. It's not about money. It's not about ego. It's not about 15 minutes of getting people to look at us. It's really about the love we have for this catalogue of musical history and we have a great time creating and re-creating the songs we love and taking the time to jam and improvise...taking the songs somewhere new while keeping true to the original arrangments. We have been featured on the radio (WXLV, WDIY, WMUH, WLVR, etc.) and achieved praise in the press as the band attracting some of the hottest dance crowds in the Lehigh Valley.
