- Lisa Stephens has been singing since a young child. Lisa grew up in Memphis Tn home to ELVIS PRESLEY . Besides Elvis , Lisa had all the great influences living in Memphis such as Sun Records , Stax records and legendary Hi Records : and of course the Gospel roots of the Blues . Lisa has attended music Schools that allowed her to sing in Groups , Chorals , perform in solo competitions all over the land . She has performed professionally many places that have taken her from Memphis to the world stage. Lisa has performed for Elvis week Gospel Event 2020 and 2021 in Memphis Tn. Lisa received The Hot Buttered Soul Award Dec 2018. Lisa is a Gospel R&B /Artist .She started out professionally doing Cover Songs from Deniece Williams , Whitney , Taylor Dayne, Mariah, and CeCe Winans. She has a very God given soulful vocal style. She has a 4 octave range. Lisas latest Single You Are My Lord is in top 20 on Reverbnation Christian Gospel Artists Playlist in Nashville that she also wrote working with Mark Blackwood and The Blackwood brothers and the finest Nashville Musicians.
