Landslide
You
change like the leaves in autumn time
I
freeze like winter when you look in my eyes
My
feet are stuck in the mud, since the thaw
I
need the sun but it’s come and gone
Why
do we live in such a way,
that
the smiles upon our face
Can
fly away so quick,
like
the breeze?
Someone
help me please,
I’m
on my knees
What’s
the trick, what the key
How
can we make it last as long
as
the trees?
its a funny thing,
dance
and sing
then
one day it’s crumbling
it
all falls apart at the same time
Love’s
a landslide
You
can’t put your guard down, cant relax
We
walk on thin ice until it cracks
It
can be a fickle little thing
It’s
a melting sickle in the spring
Why
do we live in such a way,
that
the smiles upon our face
Can
fly away so quick,
like
the breeze (Why do we Live in this way our love fly quick)
Someone
help me please,
I’m
on my knees
What’s
the trick, oh what’s the key
How
can we make it last as long
as
the trees?
its
a funny thing,
dance
and sing
then
one day it’s crumbling
it
all falls apart at the same time
Love’s
a landslide
Let’s
take a picture, while its good
So
it will be well understood,
what
all the heartache is about
why
its so hard to live without

Bio
Lion House has found a unique way of putting music to the struggles of everyday life. The music, which often resembles modern folk in the early stages, is moulded into heavy-hitting rock and roll as each member adds their touch. Each of the four musicians have unique influences and ways of approaching a song. The final product is music that feels new and refreshing, yet somehow strangely familiar.
Lion House, which formed in late 2018, consists of Robert Harris (percussion), Kate Laface (vocals), Ryan McIntosh (guitar/Vocals), and Patrick Wright (Bass/ Vocals). The summer of 2019 has consisted of numerous shows around Ontario which range from small rowdy taverns to large festival stages. The days that aren’t spent driving to gigs are spent in studio as they work on their first full-length album. The album will be a ten-song collection which touches on subjects such as love, depression, and finding courage in hard times. The album is expected to release in 2020. In the meantime, you can catch Lion House on a stage near you.
