Leigh Lesho

Leigh Lesho is a singer/songwriter and Tucson native, who has worn many different hats in this life. Some might think she were kidding if she rattled off her seemingly random resume that spans from collegiate and professional softball pitcher, casting assistant for MTVs “The Real World”, “Road Rules” and “Making The Band” and FOX’s “Love Cruise”, radio DJ, yoga teacher, yoga studio & boutique owner, artist, philanthropist, spiritual activist, entrepreneur, to musician, and much more. Although, Leigh would assure you that there's always been a clear plan in mind and a common thread of motivation that connects all of these experiences together, but over time she’s realized that she prefers to write and sing about it rather than having a conversation. She says she was a "closet musician" from as early as she can remember until her college years when she finally began to step-out and share her singing voice and original music with a few friends and family, who strongly encouraged her to continue. Those around her were surprised to learn that she could sing, write, and play the guitar, because she never spoke about it directly but it was clear that she had been devoting some significant time and effort to the craft of music. She began writing her first songs in the third grade and has been narrating life in her head as a song ever since. 

Leigh's been slowly but steadily working on her full-length debut album “444” over the past year and a half with her friend Oscar Fuentes at TucSound Studios, who is the recording engineer and producer of the project. With a variety of instruments and a range of musical styles, this album offers a stunning balance of mellow and upbeat tempos that will appeal to many different tastes. The sultry and captivating vocals serve as a smooth vehicle for Leigh's beautifully written, thought provoking lyrics that are a window into her life, leaving the listener feeling enlightened, inspired, slightly wiser, and a bit more powerful than before. She has evidently had these songs bottled up for some time now and they are about to explode onto the world music scene. She has a unique style and way with lyrics and phrases that makes it easy to bend genres and pull the listener in. Leigh has a clear and bright voice and a message that she is not afraid of sharing.
