Bio
Left Coast Envy began making music in 2011 in Scranton, Pennsylvania as a school project for Will Gordon (vocals) and Chris Kanavy (guitar/synth/vocals). Later in the year, the group was expanded to include Chuck Thomas (bass), Ryan McAndrew (guitar), Sam Alba (guitar), and Jamie Sutor (drums). This full lineup began to write songs in basements and dorm rooms about loss, hope, heartbreak, inspiration, and patience. Drawing influence from New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy, The Starting Line, and many more, Left Coast Envy plays their own unique brand of pop-punk music with heartfelt and emotional lyrics. In 2013, the band decided to call it quits and head their separate ways after playing several successful shows throughout the northeast. After exploring other musical outlets, moving all around the eastern seaboard, and growing their families, the band decided to reignite the flame of LCE in early 2019 in order to officially release previously recorded material. The first four singles from the group reached well over 35,000 plays combined on Spotify, as well as garnering placements on the Spotify curated playlists “New Punk Tracks” and “Pop Punk’s Not Dead.” LCE is currently working on new material for release in 2020.
