Kronika

Kronika is an experimental Spanish pop/rock band created in 2012 and the main focus is to create their own style of original music unlike "the typical" on the Spanish rock market. They are known for their mix of classic rock sounds, packaged in modern pop arrangements and latin fusions along with some funk, blues and jazz touches. Never stopping the creation and integration of the mixtures of different rhythms.

 Kronika has enormously expressive songs, with a live show full of energy that leads to their spectators to movements of ecstasy, without leaving behind all the musical groove that touches your feelings.  

 The band is composed by 5 very talented musicians with the same passion, energy and goals:

 Marco Antonio Tax is the founder, composer, guitarist and one of the signers of Kronika. Born in Mexico City, Mexico with 23 years of musical experience. He began his career playing guitar with a well known signed band in Mexico and participated in several recordings with well know international artists. The creation of his lyrics supplies the landscape beautifully created in the heart of the songs.

Karen Carpio is the voice and soul of Kronika. Born in Lima, Peru. She started her career at a young age playing piano and composing songs. She is characterized by her powerful voice and full of energy which guide us thru the fantastic content of the Kronika lyrics.

Keneesha Ball, born in Houston Texas, started her musical career also at a young age playing around the U.S. and Canada with a well know band. She came to deliver the energy and passion on all the live songs playing the drums. Her strength and aggressiveness playing is what is what distinguish her from what you have seen before.

On keyboards we have Robin Guerra. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Robin has a great musical career of many years along with well known international musicians. He is characterized by his many musical ideas when playing different instruments. His passion has taken Kronika to sound different from the rest.

Jose Gerdel, born in Zulia, Venezuela is the bass player of the band. He learned to play bass and guitar from a young age. He played at different projects with recognized bands in Venezuela. Jose is the one that controls the rhythm that identifies what is now the sound of Kronika.

Through hard work and determination, KRONIKA has continued to move forward to where they are today...poised and ready to break out on the Spanish Rock fans locally, nationally and around the world!   Thank you and God Bless!
