Krendon

Krendon is a rock and roll band from Orlando, FL. The band was founded by Carlos Rendon in 2014. The group is formed by Rendon on lead vocals and guitar, Jimmy Alban on bass, Israel Cappelletti on drums/percussion, and James Reid on guitar.

Carlos and Jimmy had been long-time friends and played together in different bands since high school. In 2014, Carlos finally decided to dedicate his talent and songwriting into a new project—Krendon. Influenced by Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters and rock bands from South America, Carlos asked Jimmy to join this new project as they both had similar music influences.

Sometime after, Israel, a friend of Carlos from out of state moved back into the area and the two started to spend time together with mutual friends. Israel and Carlos had played music before but nothing serious. Carlos had always liked Israel's drumming style as well as his natural ability to play any tempo and rhythm. Once Israel was approached by Carlos to join the band, he agreed and became an official member of the band. At this time is when Krendon began to take shape and the songs evolved into what you hear now.

Oddly enough, Krendon didn’t play any live shows until 2017. Since then, Krendon continued to write music and play whenever possible. The sound evolved and kept growing, which lead Carlos to confirm his desire for a second guitarist. In the meantime, Krendon was preparing to record its first EP and the band began looking for a studio that would fit its needs. A friend of Carlos recommended they meet with James Reid, a recent audio engineer graduate looking to start a studio to record bands. From that meeting, James became the obvious choice to, not only record the band, but to also join as the guitarist the band needed.

Krendon released its first five-song EP on October 22nd, 2018. Feeding off of each other's energy, the band started booking more live shows with different local bands. Their EP release tour took them from Orlando to St. Petersburg, FL, and to Miami.

Krendon will begin working on its full-length album to be released in 2019.
