Bio
Champaign, Illinois native Klevah is a passionate Hip-Hop artist known for the authenticity in her intricate storytelling and her ability to connect with her crowd. Klevah has released two full-length projects, GOLDEN and The W8, accompanied by visual work and performance. She has opened up for artists such as XXYYXX, Lil Bibby, Big Sean, Tink and has performed at SXSW, Summer Camp and Pygmalion Music Festivals. She has also hosted Urbanite, sponsored by Red Bull, for two consecutive years and curates her own open mic in Champaign-Urbana. In addition to her musical ventures, Klevah is active in her community through mentorship and organizing. After graduating from the University of Illinois, she remains involved in academia; conducting workshops and representing as a woman of color in Hip-Hop at conferences across the country.
