Bio
After self-producing and recording their first original songs, the response was widespread and positive: their diverse sound features modern and unique manifestations of old-school blues, classic rock and roll progression, and alternative rock. Their subject matter is no derailment from their diversity; from acid trips, to making a quick dollar, Kiss the Fish’s setlist will leave you head-banging and reminiscent of a rebellious past, while excited for the good times to come. Their smooth beats, heavy basslines, and nasty guitar solos are accentuated by a mellow rhythm guitar and the flare of a trumpet, bringing their sound to the forefront of ingenuity and innovation.
In April 2019 they followed up their debut release, "Alive and Well" with a new EP, "Mile High Club" recorded at Jukasa Studios with Juno Award winning Sound Engineer, Darren Magierowski (Cancer Bats, Alexisonfire, Three Days Grace). The lead single "Never Street" has amassed over 75K streams on Spotify to date.
With witty lyricism, catchy riffs, and a devoted frontman, their songs will make you want to dance and get out of your right mind, and is guaranteed to leave you with a lasting impression of how rock music should sound.
All of these assets have landed them spots playing with bands such as Valley, After Funk, Busty and the Bass, and Sam Roberts Band in their first performing year.
