A Wisconsin-based singer and songwriter, on the road whenever he's not trying to graduate college, Kirby Jayes really should have dropped out a long time ago but he never had the guts. Traveling solo and with his band Opus Dog, he's managed to put some 40,000 miles on his car in the last year, filling rooms across the country with deep-chested folk storytelling and playing wherever for whoever.
