Malik Elijah is a Maryland born music artist inspired by multiple genres of music, from gospel to gogo. After discovering Hip-Hop and R&B around the age of 13, he began to create his own music. Using the words of Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, J. Cole, and Mick Jenkins, he formulated his own noise to become the artist he is today. Malik is an artist who strives to create waves rather than ride them. He has constantly been working to perfect his craft, constructing a unique sound that seamlessly blends real and powerful wordplay with his colorful and vibrant beat selections, a fusion of samples and real instrumentation, into a tune that is 100% his own.
