Bio
Multi-talented, singer, songwriter and arranger Keli Nicole has been lending her talents to the music industry for more than a decade, working with artists such as, Will Smith, Lil Mo, Total, Missy Elliot, Timberland, Angie Stone, Tamia, Michelle Williams, and Beyonce. With three Grammy Nominations and a Grammy Award on her resume for her contributions on Beyonce’s album B’Day, for the hit “Deja Vu”. Keli has joined an elite class of songwriters.
She filmed a major role in the indie film “Who Killed Bishop Brown” as Mother Mable. In addition, Keli collaborated on projects that allowed her to fulfill a few dreams; 2 lullaby albums under the Music World Ent. label titled Baby Jamz, (a children’s album exec. produced by Solange and Matthew Knowles) and High School Jamz, an album that builds the esteem of the youth and involves them in the creative process.
After years of lending her talents to other artists, Keli has taken time to find her own voice as an artist, and released her first digital cd “Breakup Radio” via iTunes and limited time free sample EP titled “Live Free” on her website.
After being met with personal tragedy, in 2009 Keli founded and began to promote her “Let’s B.E. Aware” campaign which focuses on maintaining health awareness and the importance of healthy communication.
“God allows me to go through things and live through them …. go into creative mode and write about it all simply to bless and help others…. my life is relatable and transcends through my music.”
Keli Nicole continues to share her gifts and incorporate reality through writing, singing and speaking.
