Bio
Kate Lynch is a dynamic performer who plays upright bass, sings lead vocals and who immediately puts an audience at ease. Trained originally as a dancer she dances with her bass for her whole live show. Her shows are always engaging and fun. She brings warmth and casual elegance to old standards and to old B-Side hits from the 1920s-1950s.
Her band is composed of some of the finest Jazz musicians in the Twin Cities, Chris Beaty (ChrisBeatyMusic.com) Ken Chastain, Micheal Nelson and Greg Lewis.
Kate and her Fellows not only play songs with that old time vintage patina, but Kate also takes the audience on a brief history tour of the times in which each song comes from.
The band performs as a duo up to a seven piece!
