Bio
Kanem X is a guitarist and vocalist who writes and composes original material in the Rock N' Roll and Blues Stylings. Playing with bands and as a solo act, he aims to invigorate your senses, playing both cool and fiery solos. Although he does not consider himself a singer, he uses his vocals to bring a gritty human character to his music.
Here is what Kanem has to say about where music began for him:
"My fingers first graced a fret board when I was 9. I definitely felt something, but it wasn't until I was 10, when I got my first electric guitar (a Black J. Reynolds Strat I believe) and started taking lessons at a local music shop--that is when the guitar bug hit me. My first riffs were many of Tommi Iommi's Black Sabbath tunes, but my original "holy trinity" in music was Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, and Metallica that rose from my dad's vast CD collection. There was a lot of 80's metal in that collection, but my ears soaked up Carlos Santana, David Rudder, Sade, and so so many others."
