Bio
Juniper Avenue is a four-piece indie rock band based near Raleigh, North Carolina. Luke Baker, Cody Everest, Graham Levy, and Jeremy Adinolfi all met in a high school jazz band class, starting as a cover band and playing at food truck rodeos. Building some chemistry, the group began writing original material, releasing their first single "In a Daze" and their most-streamed single on Spotify, "Judy Byrd," in 2019. They followed up these singles with their first self-titled album in early 2020, debuting it to venues throughout Raleigh and Chapel Hill. After releasing their single "Disfunction" in early 2021 and playing small sets at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, they look forward to releasing another album and getting back in the local venues.
Juniper Avenue's sound is based on a wide variety of individual influences, from the Seattle grunge of the 90's, to the British invasion in the 60's, and even from the jazz legends in the early 20th century. Everest's melodic bass lines sit in the groove with Adinolfi's tastefully explosive drumming, while Levy's screaming riffs and solos complement Baker's soulful vocal range and songwriting.
