Bio
Born in Vacaville California, Jordan Pharoah started singing at the age of three, matching the notes of his grandmother while she sang to artist like, Donny Hathaway, The Temptations, and James Brown as she cooked. Raised by his grandparents, they exposed him to many different genres at an early age, from Blues, Jazz, R&B/Soul, Classical and more. At age 15 he moved to Los Angeles to attend an arts high school as a vocal major. While in school, Jordan started to write his own music and began to cultivate his sound while putting a band together, and gigging around LA. Since then, he has continued to perform around Los Angeles, and other places around the world, such as, Las Vegas, New York, Germany, and England. Influenced by artists including Marvin Gaye, Frank Ocean, and James Fauntleroy, Jordan Pharoah's music is a mixture of Soul, and experimental R&B, with undertones of jazz within it. Now living in London, Jordan is working on a music degree, writing new music, and performing around Europe.
