Starting out as an EP Me vz. Me was an original project of Jordan McDuff that began to grow into an amazing product of unique honesty and hardships. He is an Atlanta-born musician, military veteran, and husband to his wonderful wife Abigail. You can hear a lot of his lyrical compositions come from the hip-hop sub-genre of Downtempo or more commonly known as LoFi (or Low Fidelity). He was a DJ from the beginning of his High School years mixing on the fly at events and corporate events, eventually working his way into building an in-home studio where he recorded and mastered his album.
The Album Hidden can be summed up into things that people don’t want to share or explore deeper. That also including silence. Silence is one of the most difficult things for us to appreciate, and this album specifically features a lot of lack of vocals for that purpose. Jordan McDuff has made it a genuine effort to not write or use filler lyrics or sub-quality musical instrumentals creating an atmosphere, not just an excellent musical experience. Throughout his life, Jordan has always had an importance on excellence and perfectionism in musical spheres. Everything in his writing, composing, musical acumen and professionalism are what lead him to create Hidden, to begin with.
