Michigan emcee Joose The Conqueror is no stranger to this influence and accepts the weighty responsibility that the comes with being an artist that is saying something worthwhile through his blatant honesty, unmasked emotion and stark, witty, mellowed lyricism. Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan’s second largest city only behind the music Mecca of Detroit, Joose is the co-founder and member of the rising artist collective and digital record label AGO Music. An emcee, producer, vocalist and entrepreneur in his own right, Joose has been insightful and wise enough to surround himself with some of the most talented music makers from his area that create original, atmospheric soundscapes including recent songs “Black Sand” and “Reggie Miller” that allow him to tap deeply into his wealth of talents, going beyond conventional Hip Hop to take listeners on a musical journey reminiscent of the likes of MF Doom and Madlib. Set to break even more boundaries that are standing in his way to musical recognition, Joose is a multi-faceted artist and creator focused on making even more waves with his own enrapturing brand of Hip Hop.
