Tucson, Arizona– As a much anticipated followup to his widely popular, debut album American Dream,Joey Jewish is proud to announce the upcoming release of his second studio album Beautiful Solitude, which will be available for purchase on multiple major download platforms on March 1, 2016.
In the wake of his first release, Joey was catapulted into a highly successful career as a hip hop artist, being recognized by multiple media outlets for his superior writing skills and signature sound. In additon to being named as a 2015 Rapzilla.com Freshman, he also received a significant backing on social media platorms such as Twitter and Soundcloud, pushing his work to garner thousands of plays from listeners all around the nation.
Despite all of the buzz Joey never lost his sight of his humility and his calling. He always knew that he had a thriving future career in music, however, alongside his pursuit of this goal, he also began to invest his time in mentoring and increasing the influence of others, something that would eventually come back to bite him.
“I ended up getting burned pretty bad,” Joey said. “In that time I kind of went through a little bit of a depression, I started hitting some slumps. Long story short, I kind of just went into this solitude and I stopped doing any kind of music for about three to four months.”
It was this period of time, after recovering from the hurt of being betrayed by those he invested so much in, that inspired his next project appropriately titled Beautiful Solitude,a profound collection of lessons he learned through this experience set to next level production and musical arrangements.
“That solitude brought something beautiful out of me,” said Joey. “The sound has changed. Everything has changed. It’s become more creative and it’s leveled up... The moral of the story is that even if you find yourself in a place of solitude, don’t worry about it. You’re going to naturally have the emotions of fear, of anger, of doubt, hate, joy, sadness. Joey better known as Joey Jewish, is an American rapper, singer, song writer, record engineer and producer. He was born and raised in Arizona, and lived temporarily in Atlanta Georgia. He first garnered recognition for his American Dream project in 2015 where he was named a Freshmen of The Year by Rapzilla.com.
Joey’s EP, Abstracts & Fragments (2014), spawned the successful single “Kilo” and displayed his ability to be versatile both singing and rapping. Since then Joey worked on developing his sound which took shape in 2015 following his break from touring and studio recording. “I went into a time of solitude,” Joey said. “A time that was required to rediscover God & myself”. Following that season, Joey secretly began writing the hit single “Beautiful Solitude” which is now in rotation worldwide and has created a trending new buzz.
A sound all to himself, Joey is ushering a new wave in the music industry while touching on topics of depression, addiction, & finding one’s self.
