JoeWaters

JoeWaters grew up in a single parent household, in Brooklyn, New York. Through that rough environment, he saw an outlet in Hip-Hop at a young age. As a teenager he began rapping in cyphers and churches, rhyme battling at every turn. As he grew a following and the attention of A&R's alike, he chose to step away from music temporarily to care for his son who had been diagnosed with Epilepsy. After rediscovering the power within the outlet of Hip-Hop, Joe began writing again and soon after, picked back up the microphone. But this time, he used those experiences to shape his sound. His brand of music is a blend of transparent and conscious Hip-hop with mainstream crossover appeal. You can laugh, dance, cry, and be moved by his sound. 
With his first single release of "Can I" in March 2017, gaining national airplay, its clear JoeWaters is back and in full affect. A scheduled EP release in October, entitled "StillWaters", also having released a mixtape entitled "BarGame" with Jonah in May and "BarGame II" set to release in November, its obvious JoeWaters isn't interested in being complacent. After being chosen out of 30,000 entrants, as a finalist in the Verizon Freestyle 50 Challenge. It is evident that now is the time to show and prove that Hip Hop can still be about living your truth, more importantly your Bars.
