Music that provides something new and refreshing, but yet familiar, comes along in many aspects. Joe Asselin is one of them. Asselin has been performing music for the past 20 years regularly, pursuing his style of music. Joe is a pure lover of traditional blues, traditional country and as well has the musical soul of the 60's and 70's artists. For a decade he performed classic Chicago Blues as an Harmonica Player for "The Kilborn Alley Blues Band," where with that band he reached international status; receiving many international/national awards. As well as Guitarist he has pursued his ripe self taught style in remembrance of those blues artists, folk artists and country artists. Through the years of collecting ingredients for his plate of colors, Asselin has always included those styles into his art. Joe includes both Acoustic and Electric Guitar performances with his Trio, or a straight up Acoustic act. If you are looking for something new but yet something familiar, Asselin's refreshing sound will sooth that part of your soul.
