The melodic and soulful alternative rock band Jet Phase has been incubating and experimenting over the past few years in their hometown of Athens, Georgia. Combining a wide array of influences with an emphasis on groove, melody, and lyricism, Jet Phase performs music that appeals to dancing and pensive sensibilities alike. The band of four released its first EP, self-titled “Jet Phase” in May of 2019, solidifying its place in the renowned Athens music scene. The EP is available to stream through Spotify and Apple Music. The band’s inspirations range from 90s rock groups like Incubus and Blind Melon to old school soul such as Sly and the Family Stone and Jimi Hendrix. Jet Phase brings a distinctive sound to the saturated Athens music scene with their groovy, soulful, and punk rock spin on the alternative rock genre. The band is looking forward to playing more shows around the South-East and releasing new music within the year.
