With catchy melodies and raw vocals, Jessie Dunks brings a blend of pop and soul to the indie folk community with her multi genre inspired style. Local to Greensboro, NC, Jessie Dunks and her band "the Monks" work to find their place in the ever growing music scene by performing live at various venues in and around town. Jessie started playing music and writing songs at a young age influenced by her families love of live music. After years of songwriting and discovering her style, Jessie released a 5 song EP, in 2020, named “Hiccups”. This compilation of songs is dedicated to the highs and lows of life experienced through the small, but significant moments. Whether you’re singing along to the fun upbeat “Stop By” or raging at your ex while singing “Last Words” this EP will take you through a story of identity, heartache, love, and loss.
