Listening to Drinkers & Jokers, Jesse R.S.’s new EP will transport you into a disposition of invincibility. “Play” is an upbeat song that will not fail to brighten your day and bring back nostalgia of young love. Meanwhile, losing yourself in the guitar and ukulele will be effortless. Drinkers & Jokers, while only containing three tracks can virtually appeal to anyone who wants to unwind or become energized by the fervor in the lyrics of “Number”. “Good Drink’” will appease even the largest craving for intriguingly raspy vocals and dynamic instruments that will instantly get you moving to the beat. Overall the EP will make you hungry for more.

The zombie apocalypse is upon us! This video had me scratching my head at first as I failed to make the connection between a love song and a zombie woman until the end where it became apparent that a sacrifice of true love was made (watch to see). Jesse R.S. seems to be a more enigmatic artist than others that I've seen. His website doesn't lend much in terms of a biography so I can't say exactly where he's from or what he's about. His music is an easy listen that's appropriate for all ages. It's almost folksy with a touch of Pop and a bit of Rock thrown in for good measure. "Play" will latch onto your brain like a hungry zombie and stick inside your head all day if you're not careful. I'd like to know more about this Artist and seeing as how his music is growing in popularity online, chances are we will all be getting to know this artist very soon. Bio
Jesse RS is Denver-based indie rock band with folk and funk influences. The four-piece band has a unique addictive sound with their direct hooks and energetic style which thrives in a live setting. Jesse RS combines the elements of storytelling songwriting, a tight-knit rhythm section and such auxiliary sounds as saxophone, clarinet, ukulele and Irish whistle to create a musical blend that appeals to a variety of music lovers. Band members cite such musical influences as Led Zeppelin, The Temptations and Dave Matthews Band when shaping their individual tastes and sounds, yet as a whole, Jesse RS avoids mimicking these timeless groups.
To date, Jesse RS has amassed a noticeable list of accomplishments including the launch of three music videos: "Play," “Number” and “At My Feet.” All are currently streaming on both YouTube and Vevo. The band released their debut album, “Drinkers & Jokers,” in May 2014 and shortly thereafter completed their first national tour to promote the new release. The “Drinkers & Jokers 2014 Summer Tour” included thirteen cities in nine different states. This was followed up by several tours the following year ranging from Washington state to Georgia. Jesse RS has also performed at Denver's Underground Music Showcase for two years running as well as Denver's Higher Ground Music Festival. Bands for whom Jesse RS has opened for include such nationally touring acts as The Kin, Nick Thomas of the Spill Canvas and Birch Street. Additionally, the band has been involved in several summer concert series' in both North and South Carolina as direct support for the nationally touring Dave Matthews Tribute Band.
The single “Number” has been accepted by Crucial Music out of Los Angeles on a publishing deal to be included for future consideration in movies, television shows, video games and other mass media.
